Project:
Fracture Assessment Modelling and Training
Overview
NTS own and operate a large gas transmission system in southern Brazil.

The Approach
As part of a detailed assessment, we reviewed the following:
- Material Quality
- Crack morphology and sizing
- Current predictive models
- Burst test results
- Comparison of burst test results to predictive models
Results
Through the work, we were able to help NTS:
- Identify the most appropriate assessment model(s)
- Provide training on the calculus behind each of the applicable models which included API 579 Part 9.
After a few projects with Frontline Integrity, it was clear that they were the right partner to work with.
Always eager to understand our issues, and delivering high quality deliverables, Frontline Integrity was a great choice to help us to manage the integrity of our assets, especially in disciplines such as defect assessment, SCC management and overall pipeline integrity management
